F2L Gi Size: Height, Weight and Who It Fits

Short answer: F2L fits 172–180 cm (5′8″–5′11″) and 60–72 kg (132–159 lb). It is the Women’s Long cut of F2: the women’s cut with longer sleeves and longer trousers.

Against a plain F2 it is +10 cm jacket wingspan, +3 cm jacket length, -4 cm jacket chest, +4 cm trouser length. Everything else is identical to F2: trouser waist.

How to know it's you

Same women’s cut as F2, with the sleeves and trousers let out. If the F chart has fitted you through the body but left your wrists and ankles exposed, F2L is the fix — and it is a stocked size, not a special order.

If F2L is not quite it

F1L is the only step available in this cut. If the problem is that one half of you is a different size from the other, order it that way: a jacket in one size and trousers in another is a normal order here. About one gi in ten we shipped between 31 July and 29 September 2026 went out that way, and the mixed-size gi guide shows how to pick the pair.

And if no combination on the chart works, custom sizing is $189 and is cut to your measurements.

Size has nothing to do with legality, but fit does. The IBJJF measures sleeve and trouser length against your wrist and ankle with the arm extended, and a gi that is too short fails at weigh-in. The full requirements cover colour, fabric and the measurement rules.
